Our Story

A dealership that
learned to grill.

The Idea

Flattrack Café runs out of the showroom floor of Irv Seaver Motorcycles — Orange County's oldest BMW dealership, founded in 1911. Order a coffee and you'll get it standing between rows of R nineTs and adventure bikes, the espresso machine sharing counter space with helmet displays and parts catalogs.

The name comes from flat track racing — the dirt-oval discipline BMW itself has raced for decades — and it shows up everywhere: the skull-in-helmet badge on every cup, the checkered flag pattern under every plate, the number plates and race photos on the walls.

The food leans into that same unpretentious, get-it-done energy: breakfast burritos and burgers built for people about to go ride, grilled sandwiches named after motorcycle culture, and a rotating specials board — tacos, po'boys, tostadas — that changes with whatever's fresh that morning.

There's no wall between the espresso machine and the showroom floor — the same room sells motorcycles and serves breakfast. Baristas work the counter a few feet from the parts desk; regulars grab coffee before a service appointment or just to sit among the bikes for a while.

What We Believe

Three things that won’t change.

01

A café built into a dealership

Not a coffee counter bolted onto a showroom — the two run as one space, one crew, one morning rush.

02

Grilled, not assembled

Burgers, melts, and breakfast plates cooked to order on an actual grill — nothing microwaved, nothing pre-made.

03

Open when riders are

Early mornings, six days a week — built around people stopping in before a ride or a service appointment.
